When I visited Tawi Tawi in 2007, I had the opportunity to go to Tango Island, which is a private island owned by the Governor of Tawi Tawi. This little beach is on Tango Island. Very inviting, don’t you think?

This is the Capitol Building in Bongao, Tawi Tawi. It really has the distinctive look of a Mosque, and sits atop a hill overlooking the City of Bongao and many islands of Tawi Tawi. Very beautiful place!

These young school girls caught my attention when visiting a school in Bongao, Tawi Tawi in 2007. They sure are cute, don’t you think?

Bongao Peak is one of Nature’s gifts to the people of Tawi Tawi, it is a gorgeous view. I took this photo from Tango Island, a private island owned by the Governor of Tawi Tawi. The bougainvillea in the foreground seemed to make a perfect frame for Bongao Peak in the distance.

I must say that the most beautiful landing approach that I’ve ever made on an airplane is the approach to Sanga Sanga Airport in Tawi Tawi Province, Philippines. Firstly, you fly in low, because you are only on a small plane, and secondly the view that Mother Nature gives is breathtaking. Don’t you think?
