These guys are planting rice in Zamboanga Sibugay, not too far north of Ipil. Looks like a lot of guys pitching in to get the work done!

Zamboanga City is full of Spanish and American reminders, and most of them relate to fighting and war. This cannon is on display at one of the downtown Plazas (parks) near City Hall.
Rough seas in Dipolog

The one time that I visited Dipolog City, the weather was rough and the seas were quite choppy, as you can see in the photo. I need to go back again so I can see what the City is like in “regular” weather.

It’s a little quiet at the Pagadian Citiy Sea Port when this photo was taken, but it’s still a beautiful view! Pagadian City is in Zamboanga del Sur.
